Spectators must purchase admission in advance, adhere to health, safety protocols. Following the issuance of detailed racetrack health and safety protocols by New York State, the New York Racing Association announced April 28 that Belmont Park will reopen May 1 to a limited number of spectators.

What are acceptable forms of payment? You can purchase a preloaded Cash Card with cash or debit and credit cards. Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover cards are all accepted.

How is parking at Belmont Park?

Parking is on a first-come, first-served basis after the official opening of the parking gates. Parking will be available in the Clubhouse Gold and Silver A-B lots, accessible via Gate 5 off of Hempstead Turnpike. Day-of parking is $10 for Clubhouse Gold and $5 for Silver, and must be paid via credit card.

You can wear jeans to the races although this does depend on what stand of the racecourse you are in. If you are based in a formal meeting or in the main grandstand then we would definitely advise you to not wear jeans.

Where once dresses were your only option, jumpsuits and elegant formal trousers are now acceptable at most racing events. For formal events, jumpsuits and trousers will need to be full-length rather than cropped.
